Room of acceptance

As part of the RUMIGEN project, citizens from across Europe have been consulted on the social acceptability of the breeding technologies that the project is developing. These pictures are from some of the first citizen consultation meetings, which were hosted by private citizens in their homes, using the EuropeSay method and the EngageSuite platform developed by Democracy x.
——-
Participants discussed scenarios designed to highlight important ethical and societal questions about the future breeding approaches. Their input will help shape the “Room of Acceptance,” guiding the development of responsible breeding objectives in the project.
——–
The consultations took place in nine countries and involved over 700 European citizens.
